January assessment: learner response

1) Type up your feedback in full (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential).

2) Read the mark scheme for this assessment carefully. Write down the mark you achieved for each question:

Q1:0
Q2:0
Q3:0
Q4:2

Where you didn't achieve full marks, write WHY you think you missed out on the extra marks. Use the indicative content suggestions in the mark scheme to help with this.

3) Did you get any media terminology wrong in the assessment? Make a note of it here for future revision:

4) Look specifically at question 3 - did you successfully write about both the preferred and oppositional readings? Did your answers match any in the mark scheme?

5) Re-draft your answer to Q3. Use the indicative content suggestions in the mark scheme to write a top-level answer on your blog.

Note: If you already achieved 6+ marks for Q3 then write an additional paragraph exploring the negotiated reading for this advertisement.

ebi-Not clear argument or structure in essay you haven't answered the question at all and your written english in poor and not GCSE standared. :(

3)I have not used any media terminolgy in assessment.Convention, subversive, established, reinforce and signify.

4)I have successfully wrote about preferred and optional but not in the correct way because i have not used enough media terminolgy.

5)The oppositional reading for this would be the womens might get oppended because of the lack of feminity in the advert. They may think that the woman does not promote working because you would have to be wearing work clothes and shoes.

The prefered reading for this would be that womens are showed as strong and independent.Rolling up her seleve connotes that she is ready for hard work. Her biceps show that she is very musculer. Her clenched fist shows that she is strong and tough.
